Dave Bull has an Honours degree in Electronic Systems & Control Engineering (Hallam University) and is a chartered
Electrical Engineer with the Institution of Engineering and Technology. Dave has worked in the process industry
since 1987 when he started in Aluminium Rolling. Since 1990 Dave has specialised in delivering Process Control Systems
to the pharmaceutical industry. Dave has a strong engineering background and excellent technical project management
skills.
As Managing Director of In-Total-Control his responsibilities include interfacing with key stakeholders, driving the
Concept Design and the definition of the User Requirements. He also takes responsibility for vendor/system selection
and project management including end-user post-handover support. His role usually involves full accountability for
project budgets and timescales and ensuring all user requirements are met. He and is responsible for In-Total-Control
group sales.
Dave is keen yachtsman who, as skipper, has won several Australian Championships and numerous regattas both in one
design and open classes. He and his wife also race a small skiff (which involves a lot of swimming, as the dinghy
is only marginally stable!). In 2006/07 they won the skiff club championships. Dave is currently living in Sydney,
Australia, where he is the drummer and founder member of “Lucky We’ve Got Day Jobs”, who despite their name, manage
to get paid to play at local gigs. Dave also plays guitar.
